OIP CONDENSERBUSHINGS

At Yash, we engineer various product lines of OIP Condenser bushings with different voltage and current ratings and combinations of insulator options including porcelain or silicone.

ABOUT OIP CONDENSER BUSHINGS
Oil Impregnated Paper (OIP) Condenser Bushings are the most commonly used bushings in the high voltage transmission industry worldwide even today. They are made from Kraft paper that has been tightly wound around a conductor, with intermediate layers of aluminum foils providing a finely graded capacitive arrangement. The moisture is then removed by drying and vacuuming the paper, and the paper is then carefully impregnated with processed transformer oil. At Yash, we design a range of OIP Condenser bushing product lines with varying voltage and current ratings as well as combinations of silicone or porcelain insulator alternatives.
In accordance with IEC-60137/IEEE C57.19.00/01, all of our standard models undergo type testing at ILAC/NABL Accredited laboratories. We ask that you contact us directly with any requests for new types of tests so that we can work with you to find a technologically sound commercial solution.
